Following storm Desmond in 2015 which submerged most of Cumbria under water, we have been in the process of rebuilding our restaurant.
In 2005 The Viceroy restaurant was flooded and out of business for 13 months! In what was described as a once in a lifetime disaster.10 years later it happened again.........but this time we had been washed out and forced to re locate from our home of 25 years.
After we regrouped and things had settled down we searched premises all over Carlisle but to no avail.
Finally we found just the right location ironically right across the road from our original location and above Ali's takeaway at Linton House on Shaddongate:
